Eden Hazard suggested following Belgium's third-place play-off victory over England on Saturday that he was considering a move to pastures new this summer and according to former Chelsea stat Brian Laudrup, Real Madrid will be his destination.
I spoke to Hazard a few days ago and he told me he's going to Madrid. I think it could be a good move for him and for Real Madrid. He's a world-class players," declared the former Denmark international.
Brian, the brother of Michael Laudrup who enjoyed a fine playing career of his own, revealed his discussion with the Belgian to Croatian daily 'Sportske Novosti' as part of an interview.
"Hazard is ready to play for Real Madrid," Laudrup added, before suggesting that Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are also potential targets for 'Los Blancos' but that "I can't talk about it".
On their own, the comments do not carry too much weight, but when they are combined with Hazard's own words that
they suddenly become panic-inducing for Chelsea fans.
The 27-year-old has once again been linked with a move to the Bernabeu following Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Serie A with Juventus and it appears that he is keen on making sure a deal is done this time around.
